What I do: Youth Pastor
Family: I'm married to my beautiful wife Taryn and we have a dog named Rue.
Education & Experience: I graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies at Briercrest College before working on my M.A. in Christian Ministry at Briercrest Seminary. I have experienced a number of internship positions, but this is my first full-time staff position in a church.
Book/Author that has impacted me most: I have a number of favourite books/authors. One that stands out to me right now is Francis Chan, especially his recent book Letters to the Church.
Favourite Scripture: "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
A few of my favourite things: Spending time with Taryn and Rue, hockey, hiking, beach days, ice cream, reading, and good chats about Jesus over coffee.
Hope & Vision for Courtenay Baptist: I want us to grow together in depth of our discipleship and community, and I want the next generation to become passionate about loving and serving Christ and his church.
