Spouse/Kids: Julie and I were married in 1997, and our grown sons, Emmett and Caleb, are following the Lord into their callings.
Education and Experience: Masters of Divinity (Northwest Baptist Seminary/ACTS/TWU); Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (Prairie Bible College)
Book/Author that has impacted me most: As a young man, Philip Yancy's exploration in What's So Amazing About Grace shaped me greatly.
Favourite Scripture: Philippians 3:10-11 – "that I may know [Christ] and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead."
A few of my favorite things: Bike riding, reading, spending time with my wife, my sons, and grandson!
Hope and Vision for Courtenay Baptist: That people would find a place that their soul calls home; where they feel connected to our heavenly Father, our Saviour Jesus, and the Spirit; where lives are changed as we encounter his love and salvation together.
